Founded in 1956 as a golf and country club, King David Golf Club has a  colourful history  and an extremely bright future ahead of it.  Bob Grimsdel , the leading golf course architect of the day was commissioned to design an 18 hole championship course which to this day is rated as one of the finest layouts in South Africa.
